HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!

This weekend we took the kids to the Spanish Town Parade. We all had a great time, except for the traffic when we left. It's an all day affair. As you can see Ayden liked his pink flamingo sun glasses. Poor Ayden got so tired he was asleep by the time we were ready to go. Dylan had a lot of fun too! He bought a can of silly string and tried to spray me with it. Next year I think we might go earlier and may bring some stuff to cook. That way we can sit back and relax while waiting for traffic to clear up.

Happy Birthday Dylan and Ayden!!

Dylan and Ayden both had birthday parties at home this year. Having them both back to back right after Christmas is tough. I can't believe Dylan is already 10. Double digits, what a milestone! Dylan was quick to point out that in 3 years he'll be 13 and in 6 years he can get a license. Don't remind me, I told him. He's growing up too fast. And Ayden too, I can't believe he's already 2. I need Ayden to take some pointers from Grady. He's having a tough time understanding how, when, and why to use the potty. But we'll keep trying and working on it. Oh yeah my birthday was in there somewhere too but with everything else going on I almost forgot.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Matt was just like one of the kids with the fire works. We had a great New Year's Eve at Jimmy and Nell's. Jimmy's still struggling to recover from his broken leg but he's got a new doctor and things are looking up now.

Wow, it's been a long time!!!

Here are some pictures from Christmas. The boys had a wonderful time. Meme and FoeFoe came over for Christmas dinnger. Matt cooked his first fried turkey. It came out great! Hopefully next year the whole family can get together. We really miss you all!!!
